MMS users do not need to know the computing so much or be a programmer in order to use MMS. Also, the MMS software is nothing to install. There are no complex commands to learn and no technical information to know.

 

As soon as MMS is ready, both administrators and data entries are ready to manage the system. MMS provides great flexibility to the user, enabling him/her to remotely access and administer servers at anytime. The default settings provided for opening accounts and domains can be changed with the click of a button.

 

Security

 

MMS uses extensive security measures to assure your organization of the highest possible integrity and protection. It should be noted however that this is limited to MMS System and the software it installs. The security of the operating system is considered the responsibility of the system administrator and is not part of the MMS System. Further, it deals nothing with the computer which you use.

 

  • MMS uses the secure HTTP (or HTTPS) protocol. All data and communications between users and the system are fully encrypted and secure.

  • MMS can provides a self-signed secure socket layer (SSL) certificate that enables secure transactions between a remote user and MMS. However, this certificate is not from an "official" authority and will not be recognized by the web browser as being valid for the login URL, which results in warning messages. If you wish to use an authentic SSL certificate you can. Certificates can be purchased directly through the MMS administration or by contacting a certificate-signing authority directly.

  • When registering a member, you are upload a picture for his/her profile. It is possible to view or update that picture above from members panel.

  • There is a possibility of entering different agents for A member (which is added into system ) to ensure that member came from an agent registered in the system.

  • MMS provides additional security measures, allowing the administrator to restrict system access to specific user at any time.

 

 

 

MMS Interface Specific Features

 

This section focuses on description of the specific features of MMS web-based interface.

 

Home Page panel

 

The system interface is divided into two main parts. The navigation pane occupies the left part. In the right part you can operate particular MMS component selected from the navigation pane.

  • The Register Member shortcut opens the new member registration form, and gives you access to member registration functions.

  • The View Member shortcut opens member viewing location, allowing you to view a member instantly.

  • The Register Member shortcut opens the new agent registration, and gives you access to agent registration functions.

  • The View Agent shortcut opens agent viewing location, allowing you to view a agent instantly.

  • The Utilities shortcut opens utilities viewing location, allowing you to view / update or add a utility to the system.

  • The Search Member shortcut opens member searching location, allowing you to view a member instantly by typing his name or a part of it where it is impossible to find his/her NIC No or Membership No.

  • The Navigate shortcut opens a graphical interface to navigate through the program.

  • The Help shortcut is used for accessing the integrated help documentation system.

 

Path bar

 

When you start your MMS session, the path (chain of links) appears in the right part at the top of the screen. These links reflect your accessible locations within MMS system. By clicking on the links, you can locate to its page.

You can also use the Back button located at the upper right corner of the screen to return to the previous screen.

 

Logout

 

The Logout shortcut located in the navigation pane provides you to end up you session with MMS. MMS do not just close MMS without ending up your session. (for security reasons)

Anyway, if you will not command the MMS System within 20 minutes, the system will automatically end up your session and then you will have to login again.

 

Working with Lists of Objects

 

You may have considerable number of objects within MMS system. In order to facilitate working with the different lists of objects (for example, Lists of Members, Agents, etc.), the special tools are provided: Search and Sorting.

To search in a list, navigate to the respective search page enter a search pattern into the Search field, and click Search button. All matching items will be displayed in a reduced list.

To sort a list by a certain parameter please go to reports page.
